Getting Started

ForeGolf helps you plan intentional practice, capture every drill, and unlock AI insights as you build your reps. Use this flow to get up and running in minutes.

Core steps
  • Create your account with email or phone number.
  • Explore the bottom navigation to find Practice, Activity, and Insights.
  • Tap “New Practice Session”, pick a focus goal, and add drills.
  • Log at least a few shots per drill so you can review accuracy and tempo later.
First session checklist

Use this quick list the first time you log practice:

  • Choose a single practice goal (e.g., wedges from 80 yds).
  • Select 2–3 drills that support the goal.
  • Record at least 5 shots per drill for solid insights.
  • Review the post-session summary to track progress.

Practice & Drills

ForeGolf practice flows are organized into practice sessions, drills, and individual shots so you can measure repetition quality over time.

Key concepts
  • Practice Session: A block of time focused on a goal.
  • Drill Session: A drill within the practice session.
  • Shot / Attempt: Each logged rep with optional notes.
How to log practice
  • Tap “New Practice Session” and name your focus.
  • Add drills from the recommendation list or create your own.
  • While practicing, enter make/miss, dispersions, or notes.
  • When finished, review the summary and save the session.
Success Count

How many attempts met your target (e.g., within 10 ft).

Accuracy %

Success count divided by total attempts.

Streaks & Trends

Highlights consistency over time for each drill.

Why can’t I add more drills?

Each session is limited so your focus stays tight. Finish the current session or start a new one for additional drills.

Why don’t I see previous sessions?

Make sure you’re logged into the same account and have a stable connection. Sessions sync to the cloud within a few seconds.

AI Insights

AI Insights translate your logged data into meaningful coaching moments. They trigger when there’s enough recent activity to make a confident recommendation.

Types of insights
  • Drill-level: Tips specific to a single drill.
  • Session-level: Summaries at the end of practice.
  • Practice trends: Daily/weekly nudges to balance your work.
When do they appear?
  • After you’ve logged enough attempts for a data pattern.
  • When the system detects a change worth calling out.
  • When your plan or goal benefits from a new drill mix.

Insights require data. Tiny one-off sessions may not trigger one.

Is my data safe?

Practice data is used only to personalize your insights. It is not shared or sold, and you can delete it at any time from the app.

Why don’t I see insights today?

Ensure you’ve logged enough attempts in the last few sessions and keep your app updated—newer builds include improved models.

Account & Login

Accounts currently use email-based authentication handled through the ForeGolf app. Follow the steps below if you get stuck.

Email verification
  • Check spam and promotions folders for the verification link.
  • Links expire after 15 minutes—request a new one if needed.
  • If the link says “invalid,” ensure you’re on the most recent email.
Resetting & changing email
  • Use “Forgot password” from the login screen to reset access.
  • Need to update your email? Reach out to support and include both the old and new addresses for verification.
  • Password reset links are single-use—start over if the link was opened already.

Known limitations

Social login is not yet available. If you registered with Apple’s Hide My Email, make sure you stay signed into that Apple ID.

Subscriptions & Billing

ForeGolf uses Apple’s in-app purchases. Billing, receipts, and cancellations are managed through your Apple ID.

Free vs Pro
  • Free: track sessions, basic stats, and limited insights.
  • Pro: unlimited drills, advanced analytics, deeper AI guidance.
  • All data stays attached to your account regardless of plan.
Manage your subscription
  • Start or upgrade inside the app via Settings → Upgrade.
  • Cancel any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Restore purchases from Settings → Account → Restore Purchases.

What happens if I cancel?

Your practice history remains in your account. Premium-only features pause, but you can resubscribe at any time to unlock them again.

Having trouble purchasing?

Confirm you’re signed into the correct Apple ID, ensure the App Store can connect to the internet, and try again after restarting your device. Contact us if the issue persists.

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common issues.

App stuck or not responding
  • Force-quit ForeGolf and relaunch.
  • Visit the App Store to confirm you’re on the latest version.
  • Restart your device if the issue persists.
Data not appearing
  • Double-check you’re signed into the right ForeGolf account.
  • Verify your network connection is stable.
  • Allow a few minutes for sync after closing a session.
Practice sessions disappeared

Switching devices? Make sure you restored purchases and are logged into the same email. If something still looks off, include the session time in your support email so we can investigate.

Can’t complete purchase
  • Confirm the Apple ID you expect to use for billing.
  • Try again after rebooting your device.
  • Contact Apple Support if the App Store reports a billing error.
